No sign of yesterday's Red-backed Shrike at Johnson's Marsh today, the pair of Shoveler still there. The drake Garganey still at Potter Brompton Carr, also 9 little Egrets, Great White Egret, and a cream crown Marsh Harrier. Two Spotted Flycatchers were still at Turkey Carpet (Broxa Forest). Two Cuckoos at both Harwood Dale and Langdale Forests, plus one at Stoupe Beck. A Raven flew east over Jugger Howe Moor. Two Spotted Flycatchers, a female Redstart, 12 Willow Warblers were at Hilla Green. Long Nab saw a cream crown Marsh Harrier fly south (later seen over South Cliff), a Wood Sandpiper fly in off the sea and continue north, plus a Hobby north. Four Grey Partridge were at Folkton. At Bridestones, Dalby Forest: Spotted Flycatcher, Redstart, Cuckoo, and Green Woodpecker. Also a Green Woodpecker at Pexton Lake, Dalby. Two churring Nightjars, 2 roding Woodcocks in Dalby Forest, just north of Alleston.
