The drake Garganey was still at Potter Brompton Carr, where the Little Egrets had increased to 7, the Great White Egret, 8 Gadwall, 2 Teal, 4 Shelduck, Pink-footed Goose, and 4 Ringed Plover could be viewed from Haybridge. The first, if not rather late, Spotted Flycatchers (2+) of the year were found at the Turkey Carpet area of Broxa Forest. Two Lesser Whitethroats were at Harwood Dale, one behind the church. A Cuckoo was again near Harwood Dale Lake, plus two at Barr Farm, Fylingdales. A male Redstart was at Dargate Slack Top, Dalby plus one in Broxa Forest. Two Corn Buntings were at Gristhorpe Bay early morning. North Yorkshire Water Park had a Pink-footed Goose, Teal, and Little Ringed Plover at East Lake. Three churring Nightjars at Harwood Dale Forest (west of road).
