Tuesday 9th May

 A Little Stint was a new arrival at Potter Brompton Carr today. Also present were 2 Garganey, Whimbrel, 6 Curlew, Greenshank, Common Sandpiper, 7 Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin, a Great White Egret, and 3 Little Egrets. A Sedge Warbler was at North Cliff Golf Course. Three Sedge Warblers at Long Nab, where 5 Barnacle Geese flew south, also seen passing South Cliff. The latter site had a Tree Pipit fly south. A drake Garganey was at Johnson's Marsh. One of the Barnacle Geese was seen flying west over Seamer Tip. A Ringed Plover and Wheatear was on the industrial eastate near Plaxtons (Eastfield). A Wheatear was also at Stoupe Brow. Two Grasshopper Warblers were on the east side of Seamer Tip. A Common Sandpiper was at North Yorkshire Water Park.
