Monday 12th June

 At Potter Brompton Carr today there were six Little Egrets, a cream crown Marsh Harrier, 15 Ringed Plover, one Dunlin, one Common Snipe, two Redshank and four fully fledge Lapwing.  Single Red Kites were seen going east over Burton Riggs, over Oliver's Mount and over Cayton. A Hobby flew over Dean Road Council yard and the Peregrine pair from Marine Drive were also noted over Dean Road. A pair of Spotted Flycatchers were carrying food at Marfitt Head Farm north of Lockton and east of the A169. A Hobby and 26 Lapwings flew east there. A Spotted Flycatcher was also seen at Moor Dyke, Wykeham Forest. Swift activity was noted over the town with approximately 10 over Trafalgar Road.  A male RED- BACKED SHRIKE was discovered late afternoon at Jugger Howe.
