At Potter Brompton Carr this morning, there was one Greenshank, two Black-tailed Godwits, two Common Snipe, a cream crown Marsh Harrier, 10 Little Egret, nine Teal and a drake Shoveler. On areas with no general access, there was a female Garganey with six plus ducklings, two broods of Gadwall totalling 10 young, a Water Rail and two juvenile Yellow Wagtails. A pair of Spotted Flycatchers were feeding young at a nest in a wall at Wykeham.
