A very quiet day! The first signs of post-breeding (autumn!) movement at Long Nab today with 3 Lapwing high south. Three Honey Buzzards reported from Wykeham Forest Raptor Viewpoint, two males and a female. An adult Black-headed Gull over Crossgates is the first for a while there. 4 Nightjars (one female) Givendale, Dalby Forest, also 3 Woodcock. 4 Nightjars (one female) May Beck, Sneaton Forest.
