Thursday 1st June

 No sign of the Squacco Heron early morning, news soon came through that it had moved to York!

Potter Brompton Carr held a Wood Sandpiper, Greenshank, 5 Ringed Plover, Redshank, and a Little Grebe. An impressive movement of Common Terns NE through North Yorkshire Water Park, 58 between 06.00 and 09.00am, also a Hobby flew east, present were 2 Common Sandpipers, 3 LRP, Dunlin, Redshank, and a Black-tailed Godwit. Highlights past Long Nab were 1600 Gannets, 4 Common Scoter, Manx Shearwater, and 7 Puffins.
