Approximately 70 apparently active nests were Cayton Bay along with a male Stonechat, two Common Whitethroats, three Linnets, a pair of Yellowhammers and a Kestrel. A Red Kite was again seen over Crossgates at 1040hrs and three Common Crossbills flew south over Whin Bank mid morning. A minimum of eight Yellow Wagtails were in the Snainton Lane area this morning and a cumulative 200 or so feeding Kittiwakes were off Ravenscar.
