A female Goshawk flew over Crossgates at 0920hrs and a Red Kite was along the A169 near Pickering. An estimated 25 to 30 apparently active House Martin nests were noted at Marfitt Head Farm house north of Pickering and east of the A169. A Little Ringed Plover flew over Middle Deepdale at 0105hrs. A Whimbrel, Redshank and four Curlew were on Black Rocks and two Black-headed Gulls flew in from the east and onto Holbeck.
