A Red-breasted Flycatcher was at Lebberston, just east of Yons Nab under cliff base this morning. Also present there was one Pied Flycatcher, one Spotted Flycatcher,, two Redstart, one Lesser Whitethroat, one Garden Warbler, five Wheatear, six Little Egret and a Whimbrel. A Pied Flycatcher at the south end of Cayton Bay. Passing north at Long Nab this morning were five Sooty Shearwater, 54 Manx Shearwater, 12 Arctic Skua (1S), two Great Skua, one Black Tern, five Common Scoter, and approximately 1,500 Kittiwake. Four Wigeon, 20 Teal and four Common Scoter flew south. A Cory's Shearwater flew north past Marine Drive this morning and a Common Sandpiper and 16 Lapwing were at North Yorkshire Water Park East Lake. During an early evening watch north at Long Nab: a juvenile Roseate Tern, four Manx Shearwater and 43 Sandwich Tern (24S). A Great Skua and a Whimbrel south.
