 Highlights from a long watch at Long Nab included 3 Long-tailed Skuas, 48 Arctic Skuas, 9 Great Skuas, 5 Sooty and 329 Manx Shearwaters, 16 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, Pintail and Grey Plover. Lesser Whitethroats at Crook Ness and Jackson's Bay. Five Six Wheatears along the coast (3 at Long Nab). A Snipe at Salt Pans Rd, Cloughton. Two Sanderling, 3 Dunlin, 8 Ringed Plovers at Jackson's Bay. A Garden Warbler at South Cliff where a Greenshank flew south (plus one of the Long-tailed Skuas seen past). A Hobby flew south over Hovingham Drive, and a Merlin at Burniston. Single Swifts at Burniston and Long Nab, 3 over Scalby Beck. Three Common Sandpipers at Throxenby Mere. 20 House Martins at Seamer Road Mere, 37 over Scalby Beck. Two Whinchats at Scalby Lodge. Ar Gristhorpe Bay: 6 Little Egrets, 14 Grey Herons, 44 Cormorants, 101 Sandwich Terns, 27 Arctic Terns, 130 Oystercatchers, 124 Curlew, 6 Knot, 17 Redshank, 9 Turnstone, Whimbrel, Ringed Plover, 45 Gbb Gulls, 4 Lbb Gulls, Mediterranean Gull (juv), 3 wigeon. 2 Yellow & 18 Pied Wagtails in surrounding area.
