A new 1w Red-breasted Flycatcher appeared at the cliff top near Long Nab Bird Observatory around midday, then moved to a nearby hedge, still there early evening. A total of ten Yellow-browed Warblers were found today; Long Nab (2), Castle Hill (2), St Mary's Church, Gristhorpe Village, Ravenscar, Sycarham Wood, Blue Dolphin/Lebberston area (2). Other highlights at Long Nab were a juvenile Sabine's Gull, and Balearic Shearwater north, Velvet Scoter and the first Snow Bunting of autumn south. A Tree Pipit in the Lebberston Cliffs area. A Goosander at Throxenby Mere. Barn Owl on the south side of Castle Hill. At Seamer tip pool; 41 Gadwall, 32 Mallard, 8 Mute Swans, 3 Teal, 3 Wigeon, 2 Tufted Ducks.
