This
morning at Wykeham South Lake a Greenshank and a Redshank but they departed
together to the south, a Snipe, a Green Sandpiper, a Common Sandpiper, a Little
Egret, 7 Egyptian Geese, 360 Greylag Geese, 2 Pochard, 2 Little Grebes, 3 Great
Crested Grebes (2 of which left high to the east) and 2 Meadow Pipits flew
south.
There
were 2 Honey Buzzards and a female
Marsh Harrier seen from the Wykeham Raptor View Point and this evening at Long
Nab 12 Manx Shearwaters (S), 3 Dunlin (N), 7 Sandwich Terns (S), 16 Common
Terns (2 S, 14 N) and a juvenile Black
Tern (N).
