The highlight of the day was
undoubtedly the discovery of an adult Rose-coloured Starling on feeders in an
Osgodby back garden this morning. The bird was seen around 09.00 and
photographed by the house owner, it was seen again briefly in flight at 14.30 but
despite searching the area for another couple of hours it was not relocated.
The only other news today was
a Whimbrel that flew north over Johnson’s Marsh at 08.20 this morning.
