At
Wrench Green there were 3 Green Sandpipers and a Common Sandpiper on the pond
below North Stile; another Green Sandpiper and 5 Egyptian Geese were at Wykeham
South Lake and at Wykeham Raptor View Point a single Honey Buzzard was reported.
At
Long Nab today a Green Sandpiper went south as did 483 Swifts (a record August
count for this site), 2 juvenile Willow Warblers were amongst birds ringed this
morning and two Minke Whales were also recorded.
