At Long Nab this morning a
Woodlark flew south and 25 Whooper Swans flew north. A Razorbill was spotted in North Bay, and on the cliffs Chiffchaffs were singing and Meadow Pipits were displaying. 3 Purple Sandpipers were again in Jackson's Bay along with Turnstones, Curlew and a Lapwing. A drake
Eider was in the harbour, and a
Firecrest was singing at Crook Ness, where there were also 3 Chiffchaffs, and a
Snow Bunting flew north and 182 Chaffinches flew south. At Burton Riggs there were 2 Willow Tits and 4 Chiffchaffs, and a Red Kite and 4 Buzzards were between Ebberston and Allerston. A Chiffchaff was also at McCain's stadium and 4 Buzzards were seen in Osgoodby. At Scalby Mills this afternoon there was a juvenile
Iceland Gull and 2 Mediterranean Gulls. In the Haygate area of Dalby Forest there were about 150 Bramblings, 200+ Siskins, 20 Crossbills and a Chiffchaff.
