A Red Kite was spotted over Cayton this morning, and an hour later one was seen over Wykeham. 200+ Fieldfares and 100+ Starlings were at Coverdale Moor, 21 Skylarks and 7 Yellowhammers were seen from Cockrah Road to Coverdale Moor, and a Buzzard was at High Yedmandale. Highlights past Long Nab included 54 Pink-footed Geese, a Crossbill heading north, and 52 Chaffinches south (the highest spring count). A Mink was by the observatory. At Wykeham South Lake there were 2 Egyptian Geese, a Shoveler and 3 Goldeneye.
