Tuesday 15th November

 A Little Auk flew south past Long Nab at 08111hrs and approximately 60 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Seamer. Three Goldeneye, one Pochard and a female Shoveler were at Burton Riggs and a single calling Pink-footed Geese flew east over Seamer Tip. Further highlights from a pre dawn to late afternoon sea watch at Long Nab were two Dark-bellied Brent Geese (+5N), seven Pintail, 671 Teal, 228 Wigeon, 10 Goldeneye, one Red-breasted Merganser, one Black-throated Diver which landed on the sea just south of the Obs, 797 Lapwings, a record day total, (many flocks arriving from the east all day), one Purple Sandpiper, 99 Little Gulls (+6N), one Arctic Tern and five Puffins. An Arctic Skua flew north, a Woodcock arrived in off the sea and 16 Bottle-nosed Dolphins swam north. Highlights south past Marine Drive were 14 Shoveler, 412 Teal, 149 Wigeon, 95 Lapwing,66 Dunlin and 50 Little Gulls (+24N).
