Pink-footed Geese were moving south this morning in more favourable conditions. 470 in five skeins passed distantly off Long Nab by 0935hrs and 200 flew south over Burton Riggs at 0845hrs. 14 redhead Goosanders and two Whooper Swans (1ad, 1juv.) were at Harwood Dale Lake along with approximately 35 Lapwings. Three Common Buzzards were near Mowthorpe Bridge. Six Brambling, approximately 150 Fieldfare, 50 Linnets, one Willow Tit and two Marsh Tit were at Long Causeway Road, Wykeham.
