Wednesday 23rd November

 The six Waxwings remained at Crossgates this morning and one was seen in the park behind Heron Lane, Crossgates. A House Martin flew south past Long Nab at 0815hrs and a Swallow flew south there at 0908hrs. This was the latest recorded date at the site for both species. Two Great Northern Divers also flew south past Long Nab. 99 Teal were at Johnson's Marsh and a Shoveler, 64 Wigeon and two Common Snipe were at Harwood Dale Lake. A Long-eared Owl was photographed at the south side of Oliver's Mount.
