Friday 4th November

 The four Waxwings continued to entertain birders today at Wareham Road, Eastfield Industrial Estate and six Waxwings flew north over High Street, Burniston towards Cloughton this morning. A flock of approximately 35 Fieldfare was at Wrench Green, 100 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Peasholm and another 100 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Weaponess later. A female Goosander remained at Scalby Mills, a Kingfisher flew upstream from there and two first calendar year Little Gulls were in North Bay. Four Redwing and six Common Buzzards were noted at Hutton Buscel and 40 Lapwings flew west over Bedale where a female Sparrowhawk was also seen. Single Grey Heron, Kestrel and Common Buzzard were seen at Mowthorpe Bridge. A Brambling was in a Crossgates garden and two Twite were at Cloughton Wyke. A Barnacle Goose was with Greylag Geese at Seamer Tip Pool.  Four Snow Buntings were at Jugger Howe Moor this afternoon. Six Whooper Swans flew south over Dalby Forest.
