Monday 28th November

A Long-eared Owl was at Oliver's Mount early this morning and a female Blackcap was in the SE corner of Falsgrave Park. An Arctic Tern was at Scalby Mills along with approximately 130 Wigeon and 15 Ringed Plover and two Little Auks were off the pier at the Harbour this afternoon. 90 plus Teal were on Johnson's Marsh and a Red Kite was seen along Broxa Lane towards Hackness. Two Whooper Swans were at Harwood Dale Lake, two Whooper Swans (possibly the Harwood Dale birds) flew south over Wrench Green and the long staying Whooper Swan was at Seamer Road (Scarborough) Mere where a drake Goldeneye was also present. Three Waxwings were again at Wreyfield Road and two Goldcrests were above the Sealife Centre.
