A Red Kite seen at Scagglethorpe near Malton was the only report on the 10th.
The 11th was a little more lively...
Migration watch;
On the move (south unless stated) were 3 Fulmar + 13 north, 1 Manx Shearwater + 2 north, 6 Cormorant north, 1 Shag north, 1 Little Egret north, 4 Shelduck, 22 Teal north, 22 Common Scoter + 472 north, 3 Whimbrel + 1 north, 13 Curlew + 9 north, 1 Mediterranean Gull north, 18 Black-headed Gull + 89 north, 1 Common Gull + 3 north, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Great Black-backed Gull + 1 north, 11 Sandwich Tern north, 5 Puffin + 8 north, 267 Swift, 14 Sand Martin, 1 House Martin, 1 Flava, 2 Goldfinch and 22 Linnet.
Elsewhere Little Egrets were on Potter Brompton Carr (no general access) and Johnson's Marsh (possibly the bird seen later passing Long Nab), the Scaup remained on Peasholm Park, a good flock of 23 Crossbill flew south over Falsgrave Park and 31 Curlew and a Whimbrel were in Cornelian Bay.
