Migration watch; 06.45 - 15.15hrs and 18.30 - 19.00hrs.
An interesting day at Long Nab produced the following; (south unless stated) 6 Manx Shearwater + 2 north, 1984 Gannet + 107 north, 2 Cormorant + 1 north, 171 Common Scoter north, 1 Hobby at 12.08hrs, 2 Ringed Plover, 11 Redshank, 13 Curlew + 3 north, 1 Arctic Skua, 30 Black-headed Gull + 171 north, 1 Common Gull north, 2 Sandwich Tern, 62 Puffin + 2 north, 221 Swift, 6 Swallow and 5 House Martin.
The first Ruff of the year, a male, was found on Scalby Lodge Pond, 37 Black-headed Gull and 8 Common Gull were in Jackson's Bay, a Hobby was seen at Ruston Carr bridge and 5 Egyptian Geese were at Wykeham Lakes.
