Migration watch; 08.30 - 10.45hrs and 19.25 - 19.55hrs.
On the move (south unless stated) were 1 Cormorant + 1 north, 40 Common Scoter, 4 Curlew + 4 north, 18 Black-headed Gull + 24 north, 2 Common Gull north, 1 Sandwich Tern north, 908 Swift, 1 Siskin and 17 Linnet + 5 north.
Elsewhere 2 Black-tailed Godwit, a Little Egret and 6 Teal were on Johnson's Marsh, 4 Egyptian Geese, 2 Gadwall, 1 Pochard, 14 Tufted Duck, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Little Ringed Plover and 1 Redshank were on Wykeham South Lake and a Fieldfare was seen in Harwood Dale, the second year running that birds have been seen around the Forests in mid-summer
