Migration watch; 05.40 - 12.00hrs and 16.50 - 19.40hrs.
Another interesting day off Long Nab, past there (south unless stated) were 4 Fulmar + 14 north, 7 Manx Shearwater, 1 Cormorant, 1 Shelduck, 2 Gadwall, 1 Tufted Duck north, 193 Common Scoter north, 1 Merlin, 6 Oystercatcher, 33 Knot, 17 Sanderling, 80 Dunlin, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 10 Whimbrel + 1 north, 1 Curlew + 1 north, 122 Redshank, 1 Turnstone, 1 Mediterranean Gull north, 25 Black-headed Gull + 9 north, 9 Common Gull + 1 north, 43 Sandwich Tern + 101 north, 2 Common Tern north, 5 Puffin, 6 Swift, 9 Sand Martin and 5 Linnet.
Two juvenile Yellow-legged Gull were blogging off Long Nab following the fishing boats around while another was at Wykeham South Lake where there were also 3 Oystercatcher, a Little Ringed Plover and Common Sandpiper, the Little Egret, the Greenshank and a Green Sandpiper were on Johnson's Marsh, 10 Mandarin (6 well grown young) were on Harwood Dale and 2 Mediterranean Gull were at Holbeck.
