Early this morning 6 Swifts were seen at Queens Parade, and 2 Dippers, 2 Grey Wagtails and a Kingfisher were on the river in Wrench Green. 3 Arctic Skuas, a Great Skua, 4 Arctic Terns and 65 Sandwich Terns passed by Long Nab. In the early afternoon a Wood Sandpiper was at Johnson's Marsh for a short time. A juvenile female Merlin was seen heading south along the cliffs past Long Nab, where it was set upon by a local Kestrel.
