Thursday 22nd August

An Osprey flew north along the cliffs at Long Nab this morning, and 3 Minke Whales were seen about 3 miles out, also moving north. Other highlights passing Long Nab were 11 species of wader, including a Ruff going south, plus 337 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 5 Shelduck and a Tufted Duck, while 3 Wheatears were present on the cliff. 100+ Tree Sparrows were having a party on Metes Lane, Seamer.
