A ring-tailed Hen Harrier, 3 Buzzards and 2 Kestrels were seen around Seamer Tip this morning, the Harrier flying off north. 40 Tree Sparrows were among the bean crop by Metes Lane. Today's pelagic trip was rather quiet - the main birds seen were 2 Great Skuas, an Arctic Tern, 8+ Common Terns, an adult and 2 juvenile Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 2 Puffins, 43 Teal heading north, a Tufted Duck going south and a Swift 2 miles out. 40 plus Swifts were over Merry Leas Farm next to the River Hertford on the A64. An injured Marsh Harrier was picked up at Hutton Buscel.
