A Great Northern Diver was in the harbour again this morning, and another flew north past Long Nab. 2 Little Grebe, 2 Goldeneye and a Water Rail were at Seamer Road Mere, and at Seamer Tip pool there were 2 Teal, 2 Wigeon and a Shoveler, plus 2 Peregrines which were seen over the fields near the railway track below the pool. Both a male and a female Stonechat, 4 Rock Pipits, a Reed Bunting and a Grey Heron were at Cromer Point Pond, and the Scandanavian Rock Pipit was still in the field behind the Long Nab observatory. In the afternoon the number of Great Northern Divers around the harbour went up to 4. A Lesser Black-backed Gull was seen at Morrisons, and 3 were seen at Burton Riggs. 1115 Black-headed Gulls and 785 Common Gulls flew out east to roost in South Bay this evening.
