A Great Northern Diver was in the harbour mouth again this morning, and the Slavonain Grebe was again in Cayton Bay, close in at the south end of the bay. Three flocks of Pink-footed Geese flew over Pickering in the night and 2 more skeins flew over this morning, the first skein above the cloud base while the second skein of 110 birds flew north-west. At Long Nab a Snow Bunting was feeding on the Cleveland Way between Crook Ness and the observatory. 2+ Twite were among the Linnet flock on Rocks Lane. A Nuthatch, 3 Long-tailed Tits, a male and a female Siskin, 5 Goldfinches and a Great Spotted Woodpecker were on feeders in Ravenscar. 4 adult and one first winter Mediterranean Gulls were at Holbeck.
