A Barn Owl was hunting on Folkton Carrs early this morning and Seamer Carr hosted a 3rd calendar Great Black backed Gull, 2nd calendar year Common Gull and a Black headed Gull. A Jay and a Cuckoo were noted in Langdale Forest and at Dalby Nabgate there was a Green Woodpecker, two Tree Pipits and five Common Buzzards.Singing Willow Tits were noted at Bakers Warren and Highwood Brow in Wykeham Forest and male and female Honey Buzzards were seen near to Wykeham Nursery, the male carrying what appeared to be an amphibian sp.An Osprey drifted south over Eastfield this evening and a much anticipated adult Rose Coloured Starling visited a Newby garden earlier in the evening, the same garden which hosted another two years ago. Two Yellow Wagtails were north of Ebberston near High Park Farm.
