Thursday 16th June
Daily sightings of Honey Buzzards from Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint continued with a pair seen from there this morning. Very little other news on a relatively quiet birding day. Two Black headed Gulls flew north east over Crossgates and a Common Buzzard was at Seamer Tip Pool, where a Herring Gull was prevented from flying by the presence of a plastic bag attached to its leg.
Common Whitethroat by Paul Tozer.
