Early this morning a Greenshank, an Arctic Tern and a Shelduck were at Wykeham South Lake. 8 Oystercatchers were in the field below Seamer Tip pool, and a Red Kite was seen heading for Gristhorpe Cliffs and Cayton from the east. At Long Nab a Goosander, a Kestrel, 700 Razorbills, 43 Swifts, 120 House Martins and 109 Swallows were seen heading south. This evening a second-summer Lesser Black-backed Gull, a Tufted Duck, a Greenfinch with 3+ fledglings, 18 Swallows, a House Martin and a Moorhen were present at the Open Air Theatre.
