Bee-eater flew south past Long Nab and along South Cliff Golf Course this morning, and 2 drake
Eiders were off Marine Drive. 2
Cuckoos were seen in Langdale Forest, and a family of 2 adult and 2 juvenile Treecreepers were at Burton Riggs. 20 Canada Geese flew south, one flew north, and 60 flew out east at South Cliff, where a Willow Warbler was newly in. A drake
Garganey was at Wykeham East Lake, and at Northstile Pool there were 11 Mandarins, 2 Lapwings, a Grey Wagtail, a Moorhen chick and just one Shelduck (2 had been there for a couple of weeks). 14
Barnacle Geese flew south off Marine Drive, and at Long Nab 20 Gannets flew south, 4 Reed Buntings were in a rape field, and 20+ Kittiwakes were feeding.
