Away from Long Nab c70 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Knipe Point Drive at 09.38, 3 adult Mediterranean Gulls were on the Holbeck rooftops and a little later 2 first winter birds were flying around the car park, a Whimbrel was at Crook Ness, was on the rocky shore just south of Burniston Steps and the Eider was still at Scalby Mills.

At Long Nab today 229 Pink-footed Geese (176 S, 53 N), a Shelduck (N), 32 Wigeon (N), 150 Teal (14 S, 136 N), a Tufted Duck (N), 107 Common Scoter (2 S, 105 N), 4 Goosander came in off the sea near Hundale Point and then went southwest, 28 Red-throated Divers (22 S, 6 N), 2 Ringed Plovers, 6 Dunlin, 15 Meadow Pipits and a Reed Bunting.
