A migration count at Long Nab logged three Crossbills, 53 Siskin and 9 Reed Buntings. Two Snow Buntings were also seen there this morning. A Fieldfare was at Taylor Way (Scarborough Business Park AKA Seamer tip pools) plus 4 Pink-footed Geese flew west with the feral goose flock. The lingering Whimbrel was feeding in fields at ScalbyLodge, in nearby Jackson's Bay a Dunlin and 4 Ringed Plovers. A Chiffchaff was at Scalby Nab. A Water Rail was found at Brompton Ponds (far side of lower pond in lower end). 5+ Mediterranean Gulls were at Holbeck.
