Low cloud and easterlies overnight brought large numbers of thrushes arriving from the east, most observed carrying on westwards. A Yellow-browed Warbler was found on Valley Road. Ravenscar saw 2 Wheatears, Chiffchaff, 245 Redwings, 290 Fieldfare, also Jay there. A late afternoon watch at Long nab saw a Short-eared Owl by the Cleveland Way plus 155 Redwings and 75 Fieldfare in off the sea. An adult Mediterranean Gull was at Wykeham South Lake.
