The
details of the ringed Osprey were revealed today and it was ringed near Tain in
Easter Ross on the 3rd July and was one of a brood of two.
From
Long Nab today 72 Barnacle Geese (44 S, 28 N), 106 Common Scoter (2 S, 104 N),
38 Red-throated Divers (33 S, 5 N), a Great Northern Diver (S), a Sooty
Shearwater (N), 14 Manx Shearwaters (1 S, 13 N), 10 Great Skuas (8 S, 2 N), 4 Pomarine Skuas (S) and a House Martin
(S).
The
only news away from Long Nab was a flock of c80 Pink-footed Geese that went
south over Crossgates at 13.20 and in Jackson’s Bay a Bar-tailed Godwit, 2
Dunlin, 2 Curlew and 12 Oystercatchers.
