Thursday 18th October

Skeins of 76 + 80 Pink-footed Geese south along the coast today. Rather quiet in the bushes with a general clear out of birds overnight. The Water Rail was still at the Open Air Theatre viewable from the railway bridge. The Eider was still at Scalby Mills. Six Bullfinches at Castle Hill. A Purple Sandpiper at the harbour.
