Whooper Swans were on the move; a herd of 10 south over town at 08.40 followed by 7 south past Long Nab at 08.56, a single also went north there. Other highlights at Long Nab included 56 Golden Plover and a Great Spotted Woodpecker north plus 5 Dunnocks leaving south-east over the sea at dawn. Two Great Crested Grebes were still in the harbour.
