A Water Rail and 30 Teal were at Seamer Tip Pool and a Woodcock, 12 Common Snipe a Water Rail and eight Grey Partridge were around the tip. A Chiffchaff was at Seamer Sewage Works. A Woodcock flew SW over Scalby Beck Road and 14 Waxwings were at Seamer Road Retail Park outside B & Q. Highlights from Long Nab fields included a Jack Snipe, 14 Common Snipe (+2S), 55 Golden Plover (+107S), 45 Skylarks and 45 Reed Buntings. A Long-eared Owl was at Long Causeway Road this afternoon along with four Common Snipe, 120 Blackbirds, 40 Redwing, 60 Fieldfare, seven Mistle Thrush, one Song Thrush, 20 Robins, one Marsh Tit, one Willow Tit, six Bullfinch and six Brambling.
