80 Siskin and five Whooper Swans flew SW over Spring Hill this morning and 23 Waxwings were subsequently at Heron Lane, Crossgates along with three Mistle Thrush and two Redwing. Burton Riggs hosted one Chiffchaff, one Grey Wagtail, two Little Grebes, two Wigeon, 21 Tufted Ducks and nine Cormorants. A drake Goosander, 28 Gadwall, two Shoveler, 23 Teal, 12 Wigeon, 17 Tufted Duck and nine Goldeneye were at Wykeham Water Park.15 Fieldfares and approximately 15 Blackbirds were in a Hutton Buscel garden and a Great Northern Diver was in the harbour mouth. Four Goosanders, two Jack Snipe and 10 Golden Plover (1S, 33 in fields) flew north past Long Nab and 111 Lapwing and nine Common Snipe (3N, eight in fields) flew south there.
