Waxwings were again at Seamer Road Retail Park with up to 10 showing along with a Fieldfare. Three Curlew were at the north end of Cayton Bay and a Tawny Owl was at Dean Road Cemetery. Four Common Snipe were in the Cromer Point Pond area and 10 Golden Plover flew SW over Cromer Point Sewage Works. Approximately 90 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Burniston and 45 Lapwing flew NE over the same location. 38 Pink-footed Geese flew south at Long Nab and 12 Lapwing were in a field west of Cliff Top House. A Little Auk was on the sea off Marine Drive near to lamp post 57 and a male Stonechat was on the rock armour near lamp post 9. Highlights from the monthly BTO WeBS core count at Seamer Road Mere included one Whooper Swan, three Gadwall, 22 Teal, 33 Tufted Duck, 44 Mallard, four Goldeneye and 10 Little Grebe.
