Six Common Eider (3 drakes and 3 ducks) flew north off Marine Drive, a Puffin was on the sea near to the shelter and a Little Auk was on the sea opposite lamp post 54 on Marine Drive. A Dipper was on the beck upstream from the thatched cottage at Thornton-Le-Dale and at Harwood Dale Lake, there were seven Goosander, 52 Wigeon, 27 Teal, 75 Lapwing and 25 Fieldfare. Highlights south past Long Nab today were three Velvet Scoter, one Goosander, one Puffin, one Great Skua and one Arctic Skua. A Great Northern Diver flew north there. Wykeham Lakes hosted 140 Wigeon, seven Gadwall, 13 Shoveler, 13 Goldeneye, 10 Great Crested Grebes and 45 Siskin.
