A Jack Snipe was at Wrench Green this morning and 13 Waxwings were in berry trees outside B & Q, Seamer Road. A male Blackcap was in a garden at Heron Lane, Crossgates. At Wykeham Lakes this morning there were 120+ Wigeon, five Gadwall, three Shoveler seven Goldeneye, nine Great Crested Grebes and eight Little Grebes. A Jack Snipe was just north of Long Nab Observatory and 11 Golden Plover were in the fields. Two Little Auks and three Mediterranean Gulls flew north there. A herd of 15 Whooper Swans were at Potter Brompton Carr and 300+ Lapwings were at East Heslerton Carr.
